Our mission is to prepare and support diverse and highly qualified teachers who will raise expectations, accelerate learning, and close the achievement gap by granting scholarships and promoting innovative social justice curricula. 

To achieve at high levels, all students need highly effective teachers.  The Martinez Foundation has set an ambitious goal:  to ensure that every student in Washington State, regardless of race or socioeconomic status, has access to highly effective teachers.
